Hello! I am the President of Raquel Shutt Event Consulting, bringing over 20 years of expertise in the meetings and events industry. Known for my energy, creativity, and leadership, I am passionate about creating exceptional experiences for corporate clients nationwide.

I earned my MBA from Loyola University Maryland in 2004. During that time, I founded Wedding Savvy, Inc. Over the next 17 years, I grew Wedding Savvy into a nationally recognized and award-winning event planning firm known for its client-focused approach. In 2019, after successfully expanding and evolving the business, I sold it to spend more time with my family.

Since then, I have continued offering corporate meeting and event planning services. In 2023, I introduced the Golden Rule Meetings brand to emphasize my focus on Conference & Meeting Planning. I love blending my passion for hospitality with my extensive event experience to create exceptional events for the most important people—you!
